Join our assessment team to conduct adult ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder evaluations on a flexible, contract basis. Banyan is a culturally and linguistically responsive practice offering therapy, comprehensive neuropsychological assessment (in English, Mandarin, Cantonese, and Spanish), and medication management across two Bay Area offices.

The Work

About the role

Conduct comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations for adults, focused primarily on ADHD and ASD — including differential diagnoses of primary psychiatric disorders, neurodevelopmental and medical conditions
Administer and score standardized cognitive, psychological, and neuropsychological test batteries, individualized to each client’s referral questions
Conduct clinical interviews, integrate collateral and record-review data, and produce clear, clinically meaningful written reports

Deliver feedback sessions that translate findings into actionable diagnostic and treatment recommendations
Flexible, contract (1099) structure — set your own caseload and schedule
Compensation of $2,000–$2,400 per completed adult ADHD/ASD evaluation, set by experience and expertise, paid on report submission; partial batteries prorated by CPT codes
Licensed providers may have the opportunity to work fully virtually, depending on the referral question and clinical needs

Qualifications

What we’re looking for

Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) with neuropsychological assessment training
Licensed in California
Demonstrated experience administering and interpreting ADHD and ASD assessment batteries with adults and/or children

Strong written report-writing and case-conceptualization skills
Culturally responsive clinical practice; Mandarin, Cantonese, or Spanish fluency a plus, not required
Comfortable working independently as a contract provider while collaborating with a supportive clinical team
