Diagnoses and accommodation approvals are not guaranteed — recommendations are based on objective findings and established diagnostic criteria. Insurance coverage applies to the diagnostic component only when medically necessary; accommodation documentation fees are not covered.

Banyan provides neuropsychological and psychological assessments for medical and clinical purposes. Our evaluations are meant to clarify diagnosis and guide treatment, school or workplace support, and care planning. Our psychologists and neuropsychologists work as treating clinicians, not as expert witnesses or independent forensic examiners. These services are billed to health insurance or paid privately.
We do not provide forensic or legal evaluations. A legal evaluation is one requested because of a court case or a legal claim, whether it has already been filed or is still being considered. That work calls for a different role, a wider scope, and a different standard of evidence. Health insurance cannot be billed for it.
